The lead guitarist of Silajit Live line up, Debdeep has already made his debut as a singer songwriter in Kolkata.  Debdeep shot to fame when he released his singles `Hoyeni Alap` in 2018. His song “Hoyni Alap” went viral overnight over YouTube and now he’s one the leading solo performers of Kolkata. 

Even after hitting 1,00,000 views in eight days, the number of views of his video is still rising. On Sunday afternoon, 20 days after the song was uploaded on YouTube, the video reached 2,74,000 views. Alternative, soft rock and ambient music are the genres he tries to experiment with. He made his debut as a music director in Rawkto Rawhoshyo (2020), a Bengali emotional thriller starring Koel Mallick & directed by Soukarya Ghosal.
